Hyderabad now we can give our old products for the needy from this place !

Hello Local guides , we buy a lot of products cloths, books and once they get old or the necessity is no more we throw them but there might be some one who needs them but cannot afford them ,

Here is a great initiative by GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) . There are two places one near Shilparamam and other near cyber towers where you can leave your old cloths and books and the needy can take it right away from there .

“Citizens can leave anything from books, news papers, old clothes, shoes, old furniture, toys etc, which can be recycled or reused or can be picked up later by any person who is in need, from the centre itself.”

I thought its important for the presence of places like this on maps and added them to google maps .

so people of Hyderabad , we throw a lot of good things because we no longer need them , why not bring them here and leave it here to help the needy .

Links of these places are below .Please do visit and contribute to your ability , a small request as a local guide .

second place is not yet approved , once its approved will share the location.

A great initiative which will be helpful for people living in small places to store all the old items . And have an opportunity to serve the society .

Any way congratulations for this and would advice to keep a register so that the contributor and the user could share there gratitude on a book for inventory . Or a comment book so that people can share there love towards the idea .

@Alboc13 May be this need to be worked out.

Well what all you have? Is it practically good to send here those by courier, may be someone needs nearby you.

I see this is a start and an example which other cities can follow.

As I am always in favour of humanity so its obvious that I like this post .

That’s a great initiative. Let’s hope that donors will not donate extremely damaged materials which cannot be used.

How is the filtering mechanism @NarenChandra ?

I came to about this project yesterday only , the usable products are left in the same shelter so that the needy can take them and the un usable products are taken to recycling .
