Hush!I've found true meaning of Local guides!

With the local guides program one can share reviews with the public, even though one might not be a blogger or a youtuber. The reviews need not consist of sophisticated and advanced vocabulary. To touch someone’s heart, you only need to leave a comment of your real experience.

I think Local guides program mean a lot of things to me.

“Like a mystery shopper on a mission”: I need pay attention to the details and take as detailed a picture as possible, it’s like a diary with a screenshot, capturing the moment. It’s relatively genuine data, and the number of likes and views that users give in feedback are like rewards to us, with the levels representing our promotion. The higher the position, the distinguished the title, and also the more experience and credibility it represents. Every time we explore a new location it’s a lot like visiting a new client.

Help : especially in Taiwan, where there are a lot of vintage or hidden food shops, the owner is usually aged and unfamiliar with how to use this function well. In this era of advanced information technology, one only needs Google Map to find a place or restaurant. Simply by swiping up to the reviews, one can quickly find reviews and make a decision. Don’t want to read through the reviews? Easy, just check the star ratings and make intuitive decisions. If a place has little review or maybe not even listed on the map, it’s like concealed, with 0 publicity. Although said place has potential to be a crown jewel, it would still a rough diamond without the reviews. So it’s up to us to explore these places. It’s like panning for gold, so that more people will know how valuable this place is, more people will frequent more often, business will improve and this place will be sustainable. That way I can visit whenever I want, I can’t be the only one to have tasted it and for some people who don’t know the place well, it would be a shame if they only had one chance to come and just happen to miss it. Once missed, they will never know it to be that awesome.

I add this Japanese restaurant on google map.The food is awesome but just few customers knew this place.

Share the little secret:

You’ll only know if you’re familiar with the location that you know.

Local guides program can share something’s that the merchant won’t tell you; for example: At Seoul-hoo steak, restaurant that sells Taiwanese steak (A Taiwanese steak with noodles and eggs that sizzle on a heated iron plate.), one can add noodles for free after you finish you dishes, just tell waiters, they will ask what sauce you want and will serve them to you, but such awesome information isn’t shown on the menu. Only through local guides can one know this little secret!

DATABASE: Referring to other guides’ reviews is like a quick look at the highlights of each location. I can refer to reviews from other points of view and add them to my next pocket list. As I explore new locations, I can also learn from the sharing of other local guides on how to make things come to life and how to write review that are easier to understand and accept by the public. It is a very useful database for both ordinary users and local guides.

Lastly, I realized that the local guides program is…a junction for the people who love the land in different ways, who are friendly and willing to share information to gather together.
