Today is Monday, 8/28/23 and the weather people say Hurricane Idalia is approaching Florida’s Gulf Coast. So far the sky is not so bad. They are saying tomorrow will start the rains. Hurricanes are usually preceded by cedar bands, which last anywhere from one to a couple of days. I’m not sure where this thing is going to hit. Hopefully it’s not here where I live.

Thank you very much. I was safe and the area I live in fared very well. Some of the counties north of me got quite a bit of damage from flooding and the winds. But they are in our thoughts and prayers.
