There is a great idea that you can contribute to the most recognizable map service in the world. Once shared the information will we distributed globally and can simplify the lives of different people:
- Businesses, especially small, are not on the edge of technologies and may not know about the opportunity to be presented on Google Maps. After a business is added to maps it can be found by anyone.
- Have you ever follow your navigator but could not find the destination because of the wrong geo-position of a company? Yes, It is one more chance to improve somebody’s life! Just correct the position: 1 minute and a lot of people will have a better experience.
- Opening hours are very useful too. How many time have you asked yourself: Is it works right now? or Where can I buy milk this late evening? You can help yourself and other people by spending a couple of minutes to edit the opening hours.
- Contact data is extremely helpful. If you hardly found the info, take a minute to add it the maps.
- Translation. If you want to make your neighbourhood more tourist-friendly or help tourists from your country, contribute to multi-language support, at least translate business info to English. A lot of people are using Google Maps domestically but meet obstacles in other countries because of the lack of translation. If you travel a lot, you can understand the issue.
Take a chance to make Google Maps better. Thus you’ll improve the service, people will get a better experience with it and you will find more helpful information thanks to others’ contribution. It’s a win-win situation, isn’t it?
