I live about 30 minutes away and commute here. This location is Beacon Park in Detroit, Michigan.
What activities can you do around?
This particular park is owned by a local electricity utility. It is open to the public. The things you can do here vary. They often have lawn games. Sometimes they bring special events - like giant toys from Mexico or electronic games in a special tent. ‘Food Trucks’ come by and sell food at lunchtime. They cook all sorts of food from all around the world. There is also a restaurant attached to the park. You can walk to the ‘People Mover’ which is a small train or busses within a few minutes if you want to travel around the city.

The photos were taken in Detroit, Michigan. Most of them in Beacon Park or walking around the streets near it.
