How to write a good review for coffee

Coffee is very interesting, historical and mysterious drink. A lot of people enjoy a cup of coffee every day but explaining the taste of coffee is a bit difficult.
This time, I introduce a way to explain the coffee. Please write a review using this post as a hint.

1. Take a photo including the cup

Of course, you will take a photo of a cup of coffee. Then, please include the whole cup in the photo.
Because of the taste of drinks changes by cup size and thinness of it. They change the amount of Inflow of coffee, then it also changes the using parts (sense of taste) of your tongue.
In addition to it, the figure of a cup tells us the concept of the cafe.

2. Look the color of coffee

Basically, the color of the coffee looks black. But if you see it through the light, you are able to understand it is red in reality. The depth of color tells us the strength of the roast and a hint of the taste.

3. Pay attention to the temperature and the flavor

Most of the people donโ€™t mind the temperature. But this is a very important factor. If the coffee is too hot, we cannot taste the flavor accurately. Especially the flavor may be lost. You may love a very hot coffee, but please try once a different one.
I recommend you to taste an adequate temperature coffee that is not too hot. And please try to drink while thinking what the flavor is close to.
And I suggest you evaluate the taste of coffee in the second sip. The first sip, the tongue will be not used to the hard taste of coffee.

4. Taste it well

Finally, enjoy the taste as you like. There is no correct answer. Bitter or sour, thick or thin. You can also add sugar or milk. If you like it, please write about it in your review.
I want to know your opinion and your way to enjoy coffee.

Coffee lovers love coffee. But most of us love not only the classic one but also all the coffee. Iโ€™m expecting to meet your coffee review somewhere in the world sometime.
Enjoy your coffee life!

**Thanks for sharing @HiroyukiTakisawa **

One of my favourite kind of place to review were coffee shops, and your guide is very useful for my future review.

Something i might add, i also love to review the coffee shop ambience, was it cozy enough, Was it playing anykind of music, Was it cool enough or comfortable enoughโ€ฆ

Lately i order cappucino/latte more frequent than black, so naturally i also review โ€˜cream and milkโ€™ side of it. Was it thick enough, what was the aftertaste, and so on.

Hopefully i can write some reviews with your tips as a guideline in the near future.

Regards

This is a very important tip! I also do it well:D

The cup looks very simple. I like the white cup because I can easy to see the color of coffee. However, there are a lot of non-white awesome cups as well! This is a very complicated problem for me:-)

Interesting post @HiroyukiTakisawa with out coffee day never start for us ,cool tips thank you for sharing with usโ€ฆ

Hi, @WK_Utomo ,
Yes, youโ€™re right! Of course, the environment, other drinks, and food menus are also important for writing a good review. In this post, I focused on only the coffee on purpose, but we should add some beneficial information to it:-)

Your preference sounds nice! Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing your review!
Thank you!

Me too @NirmalTeja hahaha
We absolutely need it every day:-)

Hi @HiroyukiTakisawa !
Great post! I love coffee like you, strictly made with my moka pot and without sugar! For me it is extremely important, rather than taste, itโ€™s the aroma that emanates from the air! Waking up with this perfume is already a good start!

Happy coffee to all!

Bye,

David

Hello @HiroyukiTakisawa ,

Thanks for the tips! A coffee lover like me will always appreciate a great post like yours. Do you have a favourite coffee spot?

I always enjoy mine with milk, sometimes I put more and sometimes less but I never drink it without it. I do not put any sugar because it ruins the bitter taste. However, when I was younger, I had my fare share of mochachinos.

I drink coffee every day at home but whenever I go to a cafe, I prefer it to be special, even if it served in an interesting cup. Here is a photo taken at one of my favourite places. I enjoyed the tasty beverage in the company of my best friend which made it even better.

Hi, @MoniDi ,

Your preference is also good!

I love classical, bitter, and a bit sour coffee. And my favorite cup for tasting is the demitasse cup.

Of course, I have a lot of favorite spots. The best one is Rokugatsu no Shika, but about other spots, check this post out:-)

Happy coffee to all!

Hi @HiroyukiTakisawa!

As you told, coffee is a historical and cultural drink.

One especific cup involves different aspects like the place of origin of the grain, the place and method of processing, the type of milling, the form of preparation, etcโ€ฆ all this variables make the cup of coffee unique and unrepeteable.

But the most valuable variable of a great cup of coffee is the person who you share it with.

This is fine @HiroyukiTakisawa , but what about the type of bean, degree of roast etcโ€ฆ not being a connoisseur I am not able to distinguish these, but some mightโ€ฆ

Hi, @Sarath-Ab

They are also factors to decide the taste. But distinguish them is difficult from the looks. If you want to know it, ask it to the staff.
All the cafes are not necessarily using many kinds of coffee. And even if the shop is providing only one coffee, it may be an awesome one. We need to taste a cup of coffee anyway:-)
