How to withdraw proposed edit of the map

Hello.

In some rare cases I want to withdraw an edit of the map that I proposed because I see something wrong in my edit.

How to cancel/withdraw this edit - before some moderator have a look on it - to not waste his/her time?
And to fix my error?

Once you suggest an edit or add a new location on Google Maps, it cannot be taken back as there is no such feature available on Google Maps, now you have to wait until your edit is approved or rejected
