HI ,
I am Dr.Kenshuk Marwah when I travel to anyplace the foremost is to reach my stay ,Whether its airbnb or Hotel with my family safe and sound . So when u arrive in New Delhi the first time how and what you should choose .Everyone is not explorer ,sometimes you want to keep things simple .In Delhi when one lands I believe in Taking a cab from inside the airport and there is a Delhi Police counter which gives you reciepts and keeps record of the driver .But thats NON Air conditioned and little old school like those black and yellow taxis .Delhi does have UBER and OLA its better that you install these applications on your phone in Delhi . And now with digitilisation ,lot of new mobile payment getaways are available like Google Pay , Amazon Pay , Paytm (you will find that in most of the shops and its like e cash for use -I strongly recommend to be used ) ,Phone Pe or Mobikwik .I have no financial interest in any of these applications or Cab companies . And now Delhi is connected Via Metro to most Railway stations too . And Delhi Metro routes and they connect to most places ,yeah and mind you its air conditioned .But in heavy rush hours it would be packed .And keep care of your belongings at all time , i guess all travelers run that risk everywhere .And here you can get Metro cards and yo can charge them on the go , there are no different cards for different circles . Buses will not recommend as they are packed most of the time .You have option of having to take a bike taxi if you are single traveller and Share option in Uber , will recommend a trick if you are even travelling one book TWO seats costing is the same for Uber ,I hope this helps and cost is lesser for share cab .
