For me, Google Places it is one of the main tools to write my diary it is essential, recently I went to a wonderful place called Delicious food & Hot Spring Day Tour, in Yilan County, Taiwan.
It all starts with a simple search of the place, things like where to hot spring, where to eat and especially at what time it is better to visit the place, and this is where I found a lot of information in the reviews of the Local Guides, it is very important to read the reviews myself and from there make a decision, the photographs are also important.
It was popular in north Taiwan, there was much information but thanks to Google Places I found not only photos but comments on how to get there with many tips on more fun things like what else to see around that place.
Yilan like other place in Taiwan offers wonderful places and local snack food to appreciate, but without the help of Local Guides it would be very difficult to find newest information especially for the photos ＆comment, for me it is very important to see the images and from there plan what type of photos & comment I want to take and contribute with my own vision of the place and help more users, also as a reference for people who are on the other side of the world I share through Google Maps the places offered by the country where I live.
At the end of the Delicious food & Hot Spring Day Tour, in Yilan , I had the opportunity to make my review of the place to comment: “Awesome food and hot spring! besides to get there early at noon you have to consider the weather if you want to play paraglider, the ones you can see in the photos I took, I was so lucky hope you can catch it too”.
