As a photographer, I do accept the suggestions you have provided in your post; however, for Google Maps, your shots should be original without much EDITING.

I feel that our Moderator @MortenCopenhagen will be more appropriate to provide you with more guidelines.

To protect you local guides account you will need to clean up = delete all the stolen photos you have uploaded to Google Maps. Also, please study the photo guidelines. Selfies is another violation you easily can be suspended for.
