How to suggest google maps to correct the wrongly labelled house address

Hello everyone,

Google maps has couple of houses (around me) labelled wrongly. I’m wondering how can i suggest google maps to correct the address.

I’d love to be able to assist you in updating those addresses in Google Maps!

You could certainly achieve this a couple of ways 1) you could certainly opt to ‘Add a Missing Place’ via the Google Maps app or 2) you could also ‘Edit’ the current listing (or incorrect listing) via the Google Maps app or by locating the incorrect listing via your web browser and ‘Suggest an Edit’.

Select the place (house) on the map and then select suggest an edit from the options. There you can enter correct address and submit. You may add a photos or other evidence alongwith to get the edit approve quickly.

You can suggest an edit by clicking on the place to change the address.

Thanks for the response. I tried it, however, its for roads. I want to report the wrong house number.

Thank you. Your info is certainly usefull for business etc, but I’m not able to do it for residential address.
