Hi there,
I am looking for the correct way, how to suggest edits on Google Maps. When The Google Map Maker was active, I made some edits easily and they were accepted by moderators, but now I find editing a bit confusing.
A number of errors discovered on Google maps and I can not find the way, how to edit and correct them.
Before posting this, I found couple of threads on this forum about this issue, but they seem outdated and closed.
I found also this:

Suggest an edit
- On your computer, open Google Maps and make sure you’re signed in.
- Search for a place or click it on the map.
- On the left, scroll down and select Suggest an edit. If you’re using Maps in Lite mode, you can’t suggest edits.
- Follow the instructions.
- Click Submit.
I do not have the option “Suggest an edit” from the computer and I am not using Maps in the lite mode.
When I try to edit from the Android Smart phone Google Maps App, I get this message
I work for the Addressing Service in my country and I feel the responsibility for the mistakes on the Google maps in my area.
Types of mistakes are: wrong place names, wrong street names, misspelled name in English or Georgian etc.
I believe, tourists visiting my country and city, sometimes have trouble to find the correct way using Google Maps, or get the correct name of a place.
Recently, in my city some two way streets, were converted to one way, but on the Google Maps we still see two way streets, which is a big problem for correct navigation. Driving visitors follow the direction shown on the Maps and have problems, because of the outdated information. As I know taxi drivers have also problems with those mistakes. So correcting those mistakes is really needed.
Any suggestion on this issue is greatly appreciated.
