While creating a new pin you can add info on when the place was first opened (was established). There is a nice feature so you can avoid the excate date of the month. But how do you indicate a year when you don’t know the month?
So far I have just selected January knowing that it is probably not correct.

@MortenCopenhagen I think that you can’t put only the year. I suggest you to put a month you think it was established, when you create the place.
Them when you have the exactly day and month make a change in the place and put the correct date.
I do it like this.
I hope this helps you.
Bye bye!!

Thanks @SebaasC
I just put January when I don’t know the month. I was hoping for a better solution.
@MortenCopenhagen yes I understand.
The other option is to select the mark that says that you don’t know the exactly date.
Them when you notice the exactly date you make the change.
@MortenCopenhagen
There is a very simple way to find the date: asking to the business himself. This is what I usually do, as normally I add a place when I am there

@ErmesT
Of course, I tried to explain that.
I like doing sculptures and monuments. They normally don’t talk back to you
. But you are so right. I will award the solution to you. Cheers.

Thank you for the feedback @MortenCopenhagen
I see what you mean, and yes, statues don’t normally talk back to you. BTW, in Maps we should add information of what we have a personal knowledge, if you are not sure about a date, I would say that “no date” is better than “wrong date”
@ErmesT , I see what you mean. I try to find ‘day in month’ online for important statues, but most are 100-300 years old, so I figure that the month is relatively insignificant compared to the year. Year and an uncertain month is better than no year. Thanks again.
