How to see the top ranked Local Guides in my area?

For some years I’m contributing to Maps every day. I was invited by Google Switzerland to events but haven’t heard anything lately.

Now I’m approaching Level 9 and still gave no clue who’s around in Zurich on similar levels.

Wouldn’t it be great to have some rankings, also on a voluntary basis?

Any ideas welcome how to set up a Local Guide top contributor forum here.

@UrsBolt this is currently not possible on Connect. You can get in touch with other local guides on social media, though. There are e.g. some LG groups on Facebook. You can also check other reviews from places on Maps near you and with a bit of luck you can find other active local guides in your area (if they are not using an alias, you can often find them on social media).

Thanks Jan, ok, understand.

Would be great to see something like local top influencers being provided on Google Maps and/or Local Guides Connect. The other way around is too complicated and not worth the effort.

@UrsBolt a feature that enables you to follow ‘influencer local guides’ is being rolled out currently, but only in a lilmited number of cities, as you can read in this post with a bit of luck that will be available in other areas too.

By the way, do you know @christophesubilia ? He’s also from Switzerland.

One more thing @UrsBolt : make sure to tag other users here (‘@’ + username) if you want to be sure that this user will see your reply…

Actually, this is something I am particularly interested in too, as I have been wondering a long time about how to check for Local Guides in the area.

Hi @JanVanHaver , is the feature to see local guides in the same rgmegion/country now available. I’d be interested to also see local rankings.

Thanks for an update!
