Hi @hars_hitgupta

In the new version of Connect the list is not available, we can see only the badges that a member have, checking on his profile. If you want to suggest to have the list back, you can use Idea exchange for writing a suggestion for the team

Ermest (It is ErMest and not ErNest, correct?)

What was the intended purpose in removing the badge list in the new design? Please provide justification for this decision.

Badges are supposed to serve as non-monetary rewards but also motivation to local guides to do certain things Google needs and wants us to do more of. How can I do those things without knowing what they are so I can set a specific goal to achieve them?

Would you like working at Google without a job description or knowing what actions are rewarded? Your annual review might come as a shock when you discover you didn’t earn a raise or a bonus because what you thought to be the performance metrics were not, in fact, the actual performance criteria used to decide who gets a raise or a bonus.

Badges aren’t much different except they are non-monetary rewards. Like job titles. Don’t you want to know why the Googler in the next cubicle has the title Senior Moderator or Moderation Manager? And you don’t?

We should not have to submit the request for the return of the badge list to Idea Exchange and then vote on it. Google makes lots of decisions on its own without asking for a vote. Or maybe we should vote on the location of Connect 2020? I vote for Bali.

Open and universal knowledge of the badge list and its criteria directly benefit Google. It was, in my opinion, a bad decision to remove it.

Admit it was a bad decision (unless you can provide the requested justification) and simply, without a user vote, quietly put it back. You do not need to publicly admit to the mistake or apologize. Mistakes are only learning experiences.

Because putting it back is the right thing to do Ermest. What, is it now a secret??
