So, a few days back when I was planning a trip, I noticed that the international airport was no longer on google maps. On searching further (going via google search instead of directly in maps) I noticed that it had been hijacked by a profile that operates a business there:
So, now whenever you search for Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, you will see the location show up but named after this taxis company (profile) whom I suspect commandeered the place.
You can see from the reviews that the place is actually an airport instead of what it now purpots to be.
I tried correcting the information a number of times, and reporting the pictures added by the (supposed) new owner but that did not amount to anything.
I’ve found another hijacked (and moved) place again.
The location is a shopping centre, but it seems someone has hijacked it, moved it and renamed it to a personal business located a couple of miles away. They’ve even changed the place description, but if you go through the location’s pictures, you’ll notice that the pictures and reviews have nothing to do with what the new location purports to do.
How can it be fixed, as I did try updating it several times, but the contributions were not accepted.
Can you kindly assist, as there are tens of businesses in this location.
