Recently, I accidentally came across a profile who have been copying reviews of various places word by word from other profiles.
I noticed it when I checked the reviews of some place and the first two reviews were exactly same. So I went through the profile, and saw that many of the reviews by this profile are copies of others’ reviews.
I believe that it is not right and should be reported. Can I report such profiles? When I tried to report, there was no proper category for it nor any descriptive field where I could give the reason for reporting.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Sometimes there is not a proper category, but you can report for "another policy violation the whole profile, as explained in You can now report entire profiles for abuse on Google Maps , and you can report the review for Spam.

This is a good observation and thank you for doing that. If you are quite certain that this profile or local guide is violating all you can do is report.
According to this post How-Do-I-Report-Content-on-Google-Maps . After reporting,you kindly leave it to the team to take action. You can’t do more than that. It could take sometime for the responsible team to act because they need to investigate as well.
Anyway I’ll see if we can also escalate it with the Googlers. Thank you
A equipe do Google fará uma verificação, que demora. Se constatado que o perfil é spam etc, o perfil é removido juntamente com todas as avaliações e fotos. Edições e outras atividades que o perfil efetuou, por exemplo, o desenho de uma rua, a edição numa empresa, isso não é revisto nem removido.
O Google não vai ter informar o resultado da revisão efetuada por eles, por questões de privacidade. Você pode acompanhar se o perfil ainda permanece ativo.
