How to report a Local Guides user posting reviews from multiple accounts

A user is posting multiple reviews for the same place using different accounts. As far as I’m aware this is a clear breach of Google’s policies. What can I do?

@Gezendunyali The post you linked is an entirely different issue. I previously worked on a contract for Google and had a ‘google.com’ user account where incidental map edits were done effectively on a corporate Local Guides account. I have no access to that account since 2017. The person who responded to me there completely misunderstood my query.

The post I have made today is about another user actively and intentionally using their multiple Local Guides accounts to post damaging reviews about a business.

Entirely different issues.

Hi @JoeGleave @please DM me example reviews you think are from the same person with different accoun

@JoeGleave

Please see How to identify and report fraud on Google Maps and
You can now report entire profiles for abuse on Google Maps.

For further assistance you will need to be able to provide evidence for your suspicion. And this should not be shared publicly.

Also, you should explain your relationship to the business getting the reviews

All the best

Morten

Hi Morten,

Thanks, I’ve DM’d Paul above just now. I’ll make sure to include the information you suggested.
