How can I redeem Local Guide points? And if they can’t be redeemed why are we showing interest in increasing them?
Hi @suryamohan ,
Can you share in more details? I’m not sure I’m following.

Hi @suryamohan
You can’t redeem your points for any kind of perks.
In Local Guide people join as volunteers to help the other people by contributing in Google Maps. Google sometime offers perks globally or region specific or early bird incentive to Local Guides.
Happy Mapping !!

Hi @DamonZ :
Your Local Guides points are just way to show you your progress as a Local Guide. You can read a bit more about them on this page.
Note that Local Guides is a voluntary program and many people participate in it because they want to be able to help others via the Google Maps platform.
Sometimes, there are perks available and it will vary from time to time and from region to region. It depends on who the Google partners are. There may also be special and/or early access to Google features. You can read more about it on the official support page found here.
You can also read a bit about this on this page “Why be a Local Guide?”
I’ll also be merging your post with an existing one that is regarding the same topic. Thanks!
