How to pour Japanese Sake - visual tutor

Intro:

There’s the pop, then, in some sake, there’s a hiss - active enzymes, and then the cool flow of sake with saxophone in the backdrop in intoxicating. Have you ever poured sake while listening to jazz trumpet? I didn’t think so… So many aspects of Japanese culture are smooth and sublime like this. I think many Japanese put a value on how they present food and drink, and I think they like how a sake pours into a cup and how it’s presented in a way that is appealing. I take it a step further with my take on it.

What a cool way to drink sake @user_not_found . Did you do this while in Japan?

I enjoyed your post @user_not_found . No I’ve never poured sake while listening to jazz trumpet lol. I totally agree with you that many aspects of Japanese culture are smooth and sublime like this and the Japanese certainly place a value on how they present food and drink.

@JustineE Thank you for your comments. Sake worship is quit rare these days, but some people like myself do it. I used to do it every other week around February.

Here is another example of pouring using a Riiedel @YasumiKikuchi @AdamGT

Have a good drink @user_not_found . Sake is sometimes awarded a gold medal at a wine competition around the world. That means food and set, but you can freely combine it.

@YasumiKikuchi Yea. A lot of foreign tourist really love “ochoco” too, and is very popular as a souvenir.

Looks like Japan @user_not_found !!
We also need to actively introduce Ochoco. By the way, did you know the meaning of your Japanese Imperial Army flag design? The design is based on the image of a “Sakazuki,” used as a sake that decides to die before taking a special attack on a zero fighter.

@YasumiKikuchi No. I didn’t know that. I think sake cups tell a story by its creator. I think foreigners would love to learn more about these tiny beautiful cups.

Almost every Japanese pattern has a background story. Because Japanese kanji is also a picture. Most of the time the words on the back are expressed by pictures. Let’s find out what it means!!

@YasumiKikuchi Yeah. I totally agree.
