I’ve been struggled with Google Maps when trying to edit my address into correct one. Google Maps keeps doing its own correction as if Google knows best. Here is my case. My address is . See how it shows on Google Maps:
The 304 part, which is suppose to be the main address number is spitted into the header, which is address line 1, the rest is forced to address line 2.
I always put the whole line on the address line 1 and Google always does the same thing with it.
So I do some search and think may be the cause is the address line 3, which is the ward name, is not the place to put it, so I moved it into City part, like this, then submit
The result is not too bright, see my email of the recored changes I’ve made
Yes, absolutely no different at all. Why? I am so confused and frustrated. Eventhough it still show correct location when searching my address (luckily). But this is obviously wrong and I want to correct it anyway. So if anyone has solution for this one, please help me. I will keep trying to edit my address until it is correct, and finger cross that Google will not list me on its blacklist because of the behavior.
Thanks for replying @TharinduDM . But what I am troubling with is Google NOT honoring my input. You can see in the attached images that I am following the right procedure (which is “Wrong address” feedback). As I’ve already said, I did search for solutions for a while, including those links in your post, but nothing works. Please try to understand my situation, it’s not generic. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

I do not have personal insight into the address naming rules in your area. But I can tell you that what you are experiencing is Google’s deliberate intentions to uniform addresses.
So it is not just your address but all addresses with the same structure.
It could be that what you consider correct is not officially correct = just something people use. This can be clarified by studying what government agencies considers correct on official maps.
Or it could be that Google is not aware of how addresses are formed correctly in your area.
The question is often how many details or levels of details should/can be added to an address.

Yes, I am kind of understand your point. But here I have to say, the reason why I want a solution for this is because I know what is official in my area. I know how my goverment construct the addresses. And most importantly, the info in the feedback is the exactly how people in my country search for an address, it is uniform within my country. I think this is the reason that Google have this “Local Guides” program, isn’t it? Noone knows better than locals. So why keep pushing the rules from another area / country into all others? If Google wants evidences about my suggestion, I will happily provide as much as I can.
But I think the bigger problem here is the way Google change my feedback info without my consent, or confirmation. You can see the email above that the info Google received is entirely different with what I input in the form. So how can Google knows I am trying to help if the received info is already incorrect, and mismatch with what I am trying to correct. That’s why I am done with help articles and here I am with you.

I will explain some rules here.
- For the address number, you can see it has slashes in it, so here is how to explain it. From the left to right:

First number is the normal address number

If at that location, there is a sub-road (which is a smaller road so the gov does not bother to named it), then that sub-road is named after the first number “Hẻm 304 Bùi Đình Túy”. Yes, “hẻm” = any level “sub-road” in town.

Any house in above sub-road will be placed a number like normal road, but when you reference them, the number is put after the first number separated by a slash. , and so on.

Any next level sub road will apply the same rule for naming and number, like in my case, the sub-sub-road is "

Our administrative does not have second line or third line address. Maybe it can map with the ward name and district name, I am not sure about this.
Here is another funny example
This is a real address in my city, can you guess how many sub road level in it, and how to get here? LOL. Yes, it’s real, and it’s nightmare.
Back to my case. Here is the official map issued by goverment which shown evidence for the rules described above
You can clearly see how the rules apply.
This rules will have some exception with apartment or rural area, but normally it will have the same assignment and reading rules like above. For example:

Rural area may not have road name, so they replace the road with the administrative area name

Old apartment will be placed an address number as if it is on a sub-road

Newer apartment will be referred to using the naming scheme of the apartment building (which is differ between buildings afaik) + the building address (same rules above)

Thank @deepakjhic . I will try again there. But if you know anyone can address the problem directly, which is the info Google received is mismatch with the input info, please reach for them for me. Since I think the problem is not how correct I am, but how incorrect the form is in the first place.
