How to move a mountain?

Hello :blush:

Some local hills near my city are on wrong position, so wrong that it’s starting to be on news that google maps is sending people in wrong places.

What is the correct procedure to move a place that is in the wrong position which is not a road or a current added place? If I click right on the wrong pin there are only options to change a road, not a “landmark” like a mountain.

Any help appreciated.

Local Guides can not move a mountain even though there are more than 150 million of us!

Such data issues are better dealt with in the Maps support forum.

Hit the Community tap at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official government documentation supporting the change you are proposing. I think it will also be helpful to add negative press clippings to underline the need for action.

I checked but support forum only explains how to edit a place but mountains have no such options.

It’s not possible to move a mountain peak at the correct place.
