My audience wants to follow me on google map.But I can’t find the option to let people follow me.

There is not an option for letting the people to follow you.
The possibility of being followed is actually only extended to a few areas and a some specific Local Guide in there.
Please read Discover even more places on Google Maps to know more about this feature.
“When selecting Local Guides to participate, we look for things like how often they share recommendations, and quality and frequency of their contributions on Maps. If you’re not selected to participate but live in one of these cities, keep an eye on the “For You” tab for great local finds from a fellow community member!”
Hopefully the feature will be extended soon, but feel free to check and follow other Local Guides
