As driving in a local high way in Almeria, Spain out of now where five deers cross the road, my first reaction was to inform the local authorities about it to prevent an accident and my second thought was to post about it on Google map, but I wasn’t able to do so. So here’s two things, one I want to learn how to write about any problem related to a road since I’m always on highways all over, and second I notice that since Google San Jose is in my mind, I’m just thinking of postings everything as a GLguide
Hi,
It is very thoughtful of you keeping in mind safety of others and informing other travellers about crash on highways.
Google maps has update option of “report a crash” on map itself if you see/find any accidents on your way.
Since it was recently introduced so you must have missed out. Update your maps on phone and voila !!
Happy & Safe driving !!!
I appreciate your answer, I have looked in Google map for “report a crash”, and don’t see it at all , I looked in Tools and every where, so could you please tell me where to look for it, sorry, and thanks again
@Monicahux pls see the screenshot below…
Once you click on report crash it waits and update same on Google map which you are using on live route.
It even gives option to remove same.
I used it once and found very useful.
Hi @Praneh_Indore ,
Thanks so much for your helpful information and for providing a good answer to @Monicahux 's question.
I’m going to accept your answer as solution. The purpose of this feature is to help Local Guides find answers on specific questions or issues when searching on the Connect. You can take a look at: How do I mark comments as solutions.
