Your contributions as local guide is very important for google maps. Google maps has very cool feature in categorising your contribution of photos in maps as inside, menu or product and outside. Local guides shall upload the photos as per the category. So that it will be very helpful for the general public #letsguide

1 ) Inside the place :
Here you can upload the photos such as interiors, billing area, restroom facilities, etc.,
I only want to add a little bit of information: actually, the points for tagging photos are shown in the popup but still not credited in your contributor profile
I have a Pixel 3 and I am not prompted to “tag” a photograph when uploading. I can add a caption, but no apparent way to “tag” a photo. Is this capability available on the Pixel 3? And why doesn’t Google a generate an up-to-date user guide for Google Maps rather than ask the user – who in this case is providing free content for Google – to sift through unorganized “chat room” comments in the hopes of finding some useful information.
I have tagged almost every photo or give the photo a description. Does it make a difference whether you give the picture a “description” or whether it tags? Do the tags only count when this pop up appears?Only 3 points are credited to me, although almost every photo of me has a description (no day / pop up!).
