How to Identify Featured Photos on Google Maps

Few hours ago found my two photos featured on google maps :round_pushpin:

  1. I think google maps should notified me that my photos featured but unfortunately I got this information by photos views tab.

  1. Google Maps notified only if photo got popular and send notification on google maps app.

I hope in feature google maps will aslo notified me that my photo get featured on google maps which helps me to click Great photos and helps people who got great views photos of place that they wish to visit.

Hi @SagarKulkarni

Google maps normally send a notification when a photo is featured. You can find the notification in your notification tab

However please keep in mind that while this happens for Featured photos (photos that are visible on the listing when you open it) this many times doesn’t happen for the “cover” photos.

Please check your settings on the App for receiving notifications about the featured photos
