How to host meetup first time?

I am from New Delhi, INDIA. I am new to local guide and want to host meetup. But I don’t have much information how to plan everything e.g. food, places to meet, places to visit, when to host meetup, games, activities etc. Also I have no idea how much money is required to host a meetup. Do I need to sponsor everyone coming to my meetup? Can someone (who had been host of meetup in past) guide me about this?
