How to get Qualifications in Google Maps?

Hello guys!

In my stats (spanish version) in Google Maps I have the following fields as all of you:

  • Reviews (Opiniones)
  • Qualifications (Calificaciones): I have no idea what this is and how to work on this
  • Photos (fotos)
  • Videos (videos)
  • Answers (respuestas)
  • Editions (Ediciones)
  • Places Added (lugares agregados)
  • Routes added (rutas agregadas)
  • Verified data (datos verificados)
  • Q & A (preguntas y respuestas)

Any thoughts?

Best wishes,

Marco

Hi @marcorp

You should have also a star on the left side. The meaning of the second line is “rating” (stars)

Is clearly identifiable by the low number, as is related only to the place with a rate only

@ErmesT i don’t quite follow here… How can I get more points here? What are the 1,2,3 steps?

@marcorp

The best value for “rating” is zero.

You receive 1 point for rating + 10 point for a review + 10 bonus point for a long (200+ characters) review.

When you give a rating your "rating count"is increased by 1. When you add a review the “rating count” is decreased by 1, and the review count is increased by one.

The rating count is related to rating (stars) without a review

The best value, for ratings, is zero, because it means that you didn’t gave “only rating” to any place

@ErmesT i have as a score 3, it’s kinda confusing. I will post my screenshot.

@ErmesT so having 3 in “calificaciones” is actually good???

Of course it is @marcorp

The perfect number is zero, that means “no place with stars only”

You can make a simple test: on the next place where you want to write a review, give only the rating (stars) and submit, without writing a review.

Then check your contribution, and you will see that the rating number is raised to 4.

Now go to the business listing, reach your stars, press the three black dots, choose “edit” and add your review.

Go back to your contribution, and you will see that "rating"is back to 3, and reviews is increased by 1

Hi @marcorp

Of course you wasn’t the first person that asked about rating.

For this reason, I decided to write a post, trying to definitely solve the doubt: FAQ: Why my rating is so low?

Hope this will makes everything clear
