How to get incentives as a google local guide as i am currently at level 7 . Can anybody tell me in details what are the perks and how to get them.

Hello @AsadAli85 . Welcome to the Local Guides program. Apart from the good advice in the link @PrasadVR gave you, please note that many of us do this for fun and personal satisfaction, without looking to be rewarded with perks or other incentives. The reward is in knowing that our contributions have helped other users in some way. I’ve been doing this for over 5 years and never received any perks, and actually have no desire to receive such.

Thank you tony_b for your thoughts. Google should start working to give perks to local guides as many businesses are taking advantage of this. There should be some stredgy that Google should get something from big businesses and spend on local guides. I agree with you that it is a fun having helping others but on the other side businesses get feedback from other users for improving their services in that sense they have to be little charged for the services they receive.

As you are very well aware of, Google Local Guides is an at-will program and it’s conducted on voluntary basis. google guide perks are for namesake only! they do not exist! if you upload video on youtube, you might get money and reward for your time…however being a google guide helping others by posting reviews/photos are of no use to google it seems. They offer 0 benefits. After posting so many reviews and photos, i received 0, absolutely 0 benefits! Sorry, they sent me one small tote bag in last 15 years!! truly disappointing!
