Hi,

I have reached level 6 and till now I haven’t received anything from google?

Is there any way to receive the gifts/rewards. Kindly help

Google does not guarantee perks or “gifts” for anyone at any level. The best advice I can give is to continue to be active on Google Maps and keep your eyes peeled for any emails that may come your way. A popular perk going around right now are the socks. It DID take me a WHILE before I was offered those to redeem. Just be patient and I am sure a perk may come your way. But please do understand, they are not guaranteed. Best wishes!

Your gift depends on your performance on Google Maps. If you keep activating on the map, you will be mailed from Google Map very soon. Please keep in mind that the Local Guides program is a voluntary program and is all about helping each other with our contributions. There are some rewards, given from time to time as a ‘‘thank you’’ from Google for your quality contributions, however, there isn’t a promised reward for participating or reaching a certain level or views. You can read more about it in this article. I also recommend that you check this discussion where you will find some of the reasons for being a Local Guide.

To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future reward opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps and make sure to update your email preferences.
