How to find total local guides in Local Guides Connect

I wish there is the option to find total local guides in connect and also filter local guides by location, points levels, badges, date they joined, and achievements.

@Geethapriya There’s no easy way to filter what you mentioned above. But there are a few statistics that you can get based from the badges you get.

For example if you go to your profile, you can see ‘New writer’ badge, you can see the amount of people that earned this badge, which means these Local Guides at least have wrote one post on Local Guides Connect. Definitely not the representation of the actual total number of Local Guides Connect members, but definitely interesting to see.

Only a newcomer can answer this question. He/she will get a unique number id in web address to his/her profile on connect.

I see , is there any way that we filter them by location and point level .

I wish we could who contributed the most in each location and in each month or year period.

I am not sure if you really wants to ask about the data of the Local Guides in Connect, or the data of the Local Guides in the program. Local Guides Connect is this community, and we have around 1,300,000 members, while the local guides all around the world are more than 150 millions.

Regarding the possibility to filter them according to area, level, points, contributions, the answer is a big NO

For everyone’s privacy Google will not share this kind of information, and collecting data or making statistics is discouraged.

In your settings you can chose up to 3 Favorite locations. This will help you spot local guides from your cities of interest should they choose to mark their posts with a city name.

It is not a perfect solution.

You can also search for country names.
