This is how i have found my places. When i’m traveling to skiing resorts its easy to find big, expensive hotels. They are everywhere and cost a fortune, but in my experience, there is always 2-3 small places that have a different approach. They go the other way, they are small and cheaper and sometimes have a lower standard. But they are the perfect option for people like myself that don’t have a lot of money but love skiing. But how do you find these places? In my case i have heard about places from friends mostly, but i have then made it my case to spot them out on google maps. I feel its the right thing to do and its fun to help these locals, they really love the appreciation they get.
When you are trying to find these places, look for a place on google maps that doesn’t have a lot of specifications(Like prices) on their location. That usually indicates that its a smaller business and it can add a whole new level of experience and excitement to your tripp!
