How to find Q&A in Google Maps on an iPhone

I am not able to find Q&A on my Google Maps Application on my iPhone but the same can be found on an Android Smartphone.

You are right. The Q&A thing is currently not implemented on IOS.

as correctly indicated by @MortenCopenhagen , this function is actually available only for Android and desktop, as you can see on Ask and answer questions about a place

For every issue or doubt you can access the help page of Google Maps directly from the menu of your app: simply tap on your avatar to access to “help and feedback” - more info on: Get started with the updated Google Maps app

You can’t do that through Maps, however, the functionality is available in Chrome browser in desktop mode.

I have tried that on the iPad and it’s possible.

Enter the POI name in chrome. There you will notice maps like functionalities to create reviews etc. Scroll down to reach the Q/A section. Further, if the POI is in your timeline, you may even see the prompt “know this place?”

M also having an iPhone 8, You can’t contribute to Q&A via Google map app as this feature in not available in iOS, But you can do the same via Safari.

  • Open Safari or any web browser.
  • Search for the place.

Here you will find option to contribute in Q&A.

As @MortenCopenhagen , @C_T and @VinayKrishna mentioned as well, the Q&A is currently not implemented on iOS but it’s available on computer in desktop mode if you don’t have Android.
