Why google map don’t have “Local Guiders in This Area” option to help local guiders?
I live in Qalat Dizah, Iraq, I’m a local guider for 3 years and i don’t know any local guider in my town. i want to meet them and make a group of local guiders in my town, planning and tell each other about places and improve google map, also adding any mosques, schools, hospitals, governmental departments and restaurants in our town so that anyone can find any place. But me as one person can’t add and reach all the place so if there is a groups of guiders around me we can make it easier and faster.
Duplicate places problem
i see a lots of duplicate places in my town, because of i add a place (which is in review) and another also add this place and then both of them be approved and this make a duplicate places. But it will be solved when there is a communication between local guiders.
You can search in the community to find Local Guides from your country or you can also submit a meet-up in your town and invite the Local Guides for a knowladge sharing meet-up.
The best way to organize a meeting with other Local Guides is to create an event on our meet-up site. The other Local Guides will see your meetup suggestion and will be able to RSVP for it once it is approved.
