How to create a Google my Business listing for your local business and get verified

Nowadays for Local Businesses, Google my business listing is a must as it helps people near to your service to view about your business, services and all. So it’s important for your business to show up in local searches to dominate the industry.

Let’s learn how to create a Google my business listing to your own business step by step.

  1. Login to business.google.com with your preferred Gmail account.
  2. Select “Start now” in the top right corner.
  3. Enter your business name, business address, business category, and phone number.
  4. Choose a verification option to your business. There are several ways to verify your GMB listing. Right now we can proceed with postcard option

Postcard Verification

  1. Make sure your business address is correct.
  2. Click “Mail.” The postcard should reach you within five days approximately.
  3. Once you’ve gotten the postcard, log into Google My Business. If you have more than one business location, select the location you want to verify. If you only have one, select “Verify now.”
  4. In the Code field, enter the five-digit verification code on your postcard. Click “Submit.”

Now your Business is verified by Google
