how to correct any business category which has been put wrongly ?

tried to correct category of this small business but unable to do so

Since the business is not claimed it should be possible to get approved. Correction: The place is claimed. Pls follow the tips shared by @ErmesT

As far as I can see your edit is “Pending for approval” and Google Maps is inviting others to confirm it. However I am reluctant to confirm your edit, not having a personal knowledge of the place.

According to the business owner the business is a “Kids Garments”, so I think “Children’s clothing store” would fit better than “Clothing Store”

In any case, as the business is claimed @MortenCopenhagen , and it is available for contacts, the easier way to fix the category is to suggest the business to do it by itself, using his Google Business profile

Thanks for Such Detailed Information but i would like to bring into your notice that such businesses intentionally put such category to maximum online exposure and marketing gigs the owner denied the change of misleading information causing issues in entire complex. request you to escalte this issue

In this case you should fill the Business Redressal Complaint Form to report the issue directly to the Google Business Profile team
