How to claim benefits (G drive storage) from a local guide 8?

Hello guys,

Recently I am entered as a Local guide 8. I am contributing 5+ years ago. I am volunteering to Google maps contributing to the whole world. But, just now i need a small storage from Gdrive. is that any to get benefits also? In that 5 years i didn’t get any peaks and benefits also… i don’t whether its or not. Please any one will answer. waiting for you valuable answers

Thanks for asking.

There is no pattern, and there’s no fairness in who gets rewards. It is just a marketing gimmick.

Please make sure Rewards is selected in your email settings found here. And update the location to show your current location.

In the past there was a reward giving Local Guides extra Google storage space. But is was only for a limited time you would have the extra storage space.

Hi @venkatesh26 The storage perk was many many years ago. It has not been available for a very long time.

If you need storage I suggest buying it.
