i am level 8 and got to know form social media that local guide at level 4 n 5 are posting that they have received some gifts for their contributions.
am i missing anything…

Hi @k_khurram . At times Local Guides Connect may send you a voucher for a perk or gift but it is random and not common. I’m level 10 and never been given a perk or gift. I don’t do this for any return, I do it because I enjoy it.

Benefits are not specified for each and every level. The points that you earn lead to higher levels of the program, as well as to benefits like early access to Google features and special perks from partners. Please bear in mind that perks and benefits for the Local Guides program are always changing. Check out this article Question about a Local Guides perk email? Read this first.
Perks for different locations may be offered from time to time. To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future perk opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps.
Please make sure you update your email preferences, visiting your setting so you will receive eventual news involving new perks that we might offer from time to time to Local Guides and which may be offered in your country. This is the best way to be updated about perks.
