How to change the first photo that appears in a list of a category? If we leave the one that appears by default, the category will contain a photo that is not always the most representative.
Even when we are creating a place, there is no possibility of changing the order of appearance of the photos.

@CristinaSalle creo que la foto que se va a mostrar es la primera que añades en el post, o por lo menos así me funciona a mí. Espero que esto te ayude a solventar el problema.

Can you please clarify if you talk about the pictures, in particular, Google Maps listing or for lists that you’ve created via Google Maps?
Please note that the photo which is appearing in a particular business can be changed only by the business itself through Google My Business.
Regarding the lists created by you, there isn’t an option for you to change the main photo of the list but can change the picture of the POI listed in it.
I recommend you if you want to have this feature available on Google Maps to submit an idea about it in our Idea Exchange board. More about this bord you can learn from the article How do I use the Idea Exchange?.

As of now you cannot change the cover image of the post as your wish and the image that you are going to upload first in your post appears as the cover image of the post .
@JavieraAu I think she is asking about changing the cover image of the post in connect
