How to change our base location as Local guide

I joined Local guide program when I was in Milton Keynes UK but now I have moved to Mumbai India. But I seems my location is still UK as I received Perks offers in Pounds instead of INR. Can someone help how reset our location ?

Hello @RaviCheepa

Open the site - https://maps.google.com/localguides/home while you are logged into your Google account in chrome. Ensure to use the same account you used for signing up the local guides program.

Now on that page, click the hamburger icon (three bars) and click settings. There you will find the option to change the city.

Hi @RaviCheepa welcome to local guide connect and thank you for reaching out. While you can do this by accessing this link from the local guide help forum, You can change you city and country from your settings, to do this you do not have to leave local guide connect.

From here on your top right of your screen near your profile photo and the bell, click on My settings represented by a gear, the following page will be the one on the screen short bellow…

See this screen short:

The following step will be to click, on the advanced settings link**,** see the screen short of the landing page**:**

Once you click personal information, it will take you where you will be able to find location, enabling you to add your city, and country, to do that you will have to separate by a comma as shown on the screen short:

I got below pages from wher I changed the location. Earlier I was looking for options in local guide app only. There is no option to changes location on setting page available in app. So I did it through web. Below are screenshots.

after that click on “Local guides settings page” and put new city and click change button.

Hi @RaviCheepa we do have other options, here is another way to do it without leaving connect to the local guide help forum which I have accepted as a solution, since it provide more details with screen shorts and steps. Thank you.
