Hello, I hope you’re being well.
Recently … I’ ve realized my neighboarhood has a wrong name in Google Maps.
In fact, this is named “Canastica” but Google Maps shows a kind of confussion adding other terms “Canastica or Paradise / Paraiso” in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic everyone knows is just Canastica.
I want to know how can I fix this trouble and how can you help me solve it.
Thanks

Hi @manuelenunezz
As suggested by @Stranger9 you can try to provide feedback in Google Maps. But in my experience your chances of success are very slim. If it is very important to you and your are sure your suggestion is correct you could approach the relevant local authorities in charge of the Map that forms the basis for google maps. If they agree with you they can communicate the change directly to Google Maps.
It is different Municipality or regional offices that are responsible for the official maps in different countries. So give your local Municipality a call and they should know whom to contact.
Cheers
