How to change my hometown name and other places wrong info… At my side… There are so many places which have wrong informations even my hometown place name is also wrong… Whatever the name there is 2nd one village 2kilometer far from my village… How to rectify these error . How to tell Google to correct these all wrong places info … Please anyone response. It will be very helpful if I get better response of my query… Thanks . I am waiting for your responses…

Hi @PrashantPr

As you probably already know, Local Guides are now allowed to suggest edits to town names. Instead we can give feedback. If verified then a googler will make changes.

Here are some instructions on how to give feedback.

Hello @PrashantPr

I believe you are referring to errors in the automatic translation of place names in the local language.

You can suggest a correction in that through the “Send feedback” option.

However, if there is an error in the English name, the origin is

somewhere else. You need fixing that first and then that will reflect on Maps automatically.

Yupp… There is origin error… Actually the thing is whatever the village name is there is not belong to that village. . They have interchanged the village name. Village one name is mentioned on Village 2 while village 2name is mentioned on village 1… I already gave feedback to Google but it’s been 2 since I gave feedback but the error is still there…

Thanks… It’s been 2 month since I have given my feedback to Google about this error and some more but still reflecting the same error… No response from there side …
