How does one change business ownership name? I reviewed a business, but it is listed as my business. How do I change the ownership in google maps?

Is the business listed so your name is mentioned in the name of the business? Or does the business appear to be claimed and verified by you?
If you share a link to the place on Google Maps we might be able to suggest what you can do.
Are you familiar with editing places on Google Maps?

That is where you are likely to find the help you need. Make a search there. And if needed post you question in the forum. I’m not familiar with the services available to business owners.

Claiming a place is a process that require a procedure for the verification of what you are claiming, with a code from Google My Business.
It is not enough to tap on “Claim this business” to own it. You have to add more details. If you went through all the process, well, most probably the business is “under Verification”.
If you went through all the process, and the ownership was approved And verified through the verification code, what you have to do is to go in your GMB dashboard and delete the listing from there.
The Listing will appear again as Unclaimed, but will not be deleted from Google Maps
