Google Maps has about half of the property addresses from for our little city, how will that be corrected? Our city is Kirby, TX zip code 78219 for all properties. Google has some properties correct, other properties have city of San Antonio zip code 78219.
Hi @postgirl11 ,
Please do post your query in Google Maps & Earth Help Forum. Experts will help you out in that forum.
@postgirl11 For all other information that Local Guides cannot directly suggest an edit, for example name of a city, or the underlying zip code, best we can do is to use the Send Feedback under the menu.
From Maps app, zoom to the area that is of concern
Menu > Send Feedback > You opinions about Maps
Write your feedback in detail and include screenshot of the area.
(if a graphical representation is needed, you may want to upload a diagram into your Google drive and share a link in the feedback)
Hi @postgirl11 thanks for wanting to improve Maps. The base map (known as Land Base or Cadastre) usually comes from official source such as local government authorities. Sending in your opinion to ask Google to review the area you’re interested in is the best way forward as suggested by @StephenAbraham
There is a lot of cross over between Local Guides Connect and the Maps Forum @MadanKPradhan but in this case the advice is going to be the same.
Regards Paul
I appreciate it @PaulPavlinovich . What @StephenAbraham mentioned is the first step to deal with it. I suggested it bcoz most of the user return back after the issue is not resolved & we can’t suggest the same again. So I thought Map Forum would be the right place for both cases.
Thanks.
