I’m from Sudan, and there is a lot of restrictions against my country, Since I have joined the LG program on 2016 I didn’t receive any of Local Guides Perks, Now I’m at Level 6 and nearly to Level 7, I’m not sure about my guessing but I think it has a relation for the sanctions against my country … Please help me to bypass or solve this problem to Enjoy future LG Perks

This is a serius issue… but it not necessary that it is because relation for the sanctions against your country…
What i suggest pls wait for little as i also face problem in recieving perk…

@abadymoezain Let me just say that users of Google Maps in your location greatly appreciate all the work you do because they have a better Maps experience. So, even if you don’t yet get a perk, everyone is thankful for the effort you are putting in.
Regarding if there is any sanctions or restrictions, that none of us can bypass because it’s usually a government policy. Just out of curiosity, can you edit Maps there in Sudan? Are there any restrictions in contributions? How about editing roads?
The other thing I wanted to share is not every Local Guide receive perks, and some of the perks are joint offerings between Local Guides program and local service providers such as bus tickets, movie tickets, discount coupons etc and very specific to a set of respective countries only. And even for the most recent “gift” like stickers or socks, not everyone got it, and may not in fact be due to your location, although I am not sure.
Still, just want to encourage you to continue doing a great job contributing, because it makes a difference for local users and local businesses alike.
