How to buy something with points " local google guide" ? [I am falling into despair :( ]

Hello there,

I wrote to technical support (in Poland) but they couldn’t help me so I’m writing here.

If anyone knows how:

1.check what are the rewards as a local guide ? (complete list of awards) to buy for points

2.I heard that I can buy for points (virtual content, e.g. gmail disk etc ) how can this be done?

I have been trying to get answers to these 2 questions for over 2 months now and have started to lose hoping

If anyone can help me, I will be very very grateful !!!

Local Guides point and badges are simply the indication of your contributions, and cannot be exchanged or used to buy products. "Points do not expire, though they may decrease if content is removed for violating our policies"

At certain level you may be eligible for rewards and early access to new features, but there is not a direct relation between reaching a certain amount of points and receiving a reward. About rewards you can read Question about a Local Guides reward email? Read this first

Local Guides points have no monetary or exchange value. And hence there is no complete list of perks available.

Feel free to share links to information from Google stating otherwise. Then is should be corrected.
