When I come to Hanoi from my city, deeply hidden somewhere in Siberian forests, I faced with a totally different lifestyle here. For example, i expected to find a simple yogurt in the nearest supermarket, but it wasn’t there. Just there was no regular supermarket in my field of view. In fact, the whole city seems like a huge supermarket market where goods mixed between departments and if you don’t know where exactly you can find something then it is really hard to get this thing. I felt my self like an alien on the new planet. And that time google maps was the greatest solution for me to find some proper shops, services, even a portion of good food. And its routing feature really rescued me many times. So I started to upload pictures and write reviews for places I visited. To share my experience and to help people find shortcuts in new places, being ready for the trip and be happier while discovering the world. To make them able to find their can of yogurt) Now I have a high 7 level in the program and don’t want to stop on it. And as I said on the video, it’s become my passion. Most of all, I like to add new places which provide goods or services, which is useful for people. It is important to add more such places to Google Maps, because now in Vietnam we don’t have any complete and convenient catalog like we usually have in other countries.
And, besides of this quite serious goal…It’s such a great life gamification! Actually the best of those I participated in. Every time I’m going somewhere, I have goals and I enjoy achieving them.
