How to become a Guiding Star ⭐ 2023 and how to win gifts from Google Maps

Hello Everyone.,

Good Evening to all

Someone please tell me I really want to know what is the process of became the Guiding Star :woman_singer: :sparkles: on Google maps… :thinking:

And how do I get gifts from Google Maps :world_map: :japan: because right now am on Level 8 am continuously contributing on Google maps as a very proud and Happy Local guide…coz I really want to help people and shows everyone the good way to go where people want to go…

So that’s why I really want a Gifs or Goodies from Google.

I never got the Local guide socks :socks: yet…Although I am cross the level 6 on Gmap as a Guide.

And right now am on Level 8…so I really want something from Google Maps… I hope you guys consider my this msg…thank you :hugs: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I believe you are still relatively new to connect so I am pleased to meet you here. That said,I had a quick look on your profile now and I saw that you have actually :point_right:t3: Gotten a reward-from-Google-Localguide sometime ago. What happened to that?

Secondly it has been confirmed that there will be no guiding star event for 2023. If you read Highlights-Ask-a-Googler-Kristen. we have official confirmation to that effect.

Answer: While we won’t be hosting Guiding Stars this year; we’re exploring other ways to celebrate the impact of this awesome community!

Nevertheless. I was a guiding star 2022 . Please look on my Google maps profile and on my profile here on connect and you’ll see proofs of why I was nominated. To be a guiding star, means exceptional and quality contributions on connect and on the maps. Active participation and interactions etc.

As you know being a local guide is a voluntary thing. It should not be done because we want goodies or rewards from Google. Lastly getting a gift from Google has no set pattern. Infact I feel its the AI randomly sends or nominate those who gets the pair of socks,pin badge etc. Please keep contributing and participating. Depending on your geographical zone,it may be your turn someday fingers

Yes I got the Google Pin :round_pushpin: ,

But I’m hope for other gifts or goodies from Google Maps.

Because it’s inspire me to do more on Google maps as local guide.
