How to be nominated as a one of the guiding stars by Google ?

Greetings to all my fellow local guide’s from around the globe!!!

My name is Omar and I’m a local guide level 5 from Egypt I wanted to ask the local guide community for tips on how I can be nominated by google in guiding stars in the community builder sector.

If anyone has some helpful tips please reply.

@OmarElgamal16 2021 is the second year the Local Guides Guiding Stars is running. Sometime next year, if the Guiding Stars program continues, there would be an announcement like the one below which you can read where friends and contributors can nominate people to be a Guiding Star.

We’d love to hear what you think about us recognizing Local Guides in this or a similar manner in the future. Keep in mind that there was no application process for Guiding Stars. When recognizing Local Guides across our program, we always do our best to ensure that Local Guides from all areas across our community, whether it be location, language or Maps contribution area are represented. We encourage you to use our community nomination form to let us know what you or another Local Guide are up to.
