I want to be a google trusted photographer, this is my first road map photography

Are there any brand requirements in terms of hardware for taking photos or will any hardware that can meet the required specifications for the photos do?

All the requirements about publishing 360° photos are available in the Google Maps help:

However, if you are looking for a Trusted Photographer badge, I have to inform you that, as you can read in Questions about Street View? Read this first “As of July 19, 2021, new enrollments into the Street View trusted program are put on hold. At this time, we do not award the trusted badge to new contributors who’ve reached the minimum number of photos for membership, and do not list new professionals on the for-hire index**.”**

Badges are simply the acknowledgement of our activity.

We receive badges for:

  • Number of post: based on the number of thread you start

  • Likes Given / Received: You can give a like to a post or to a photo, if you like it, and of course you can receive likes for beautiful contents. 14 helpful tips for using Connect will help you to write engaging post in the community

  • Solutions: When our reply is helpful, it can be flagged as a “Solution” for the post: Tip: How to mark replies as solutions — “Accept as Solution” feature

  • Status badges: are showing the status of the Local Guide (e.g. Connect Moderator) or the participation to some official event, like Connect Live.

Be active in the community, and the number of your badges will increase for sure. To see the badges of a Local guide, you just need to click on the profile

Regarding Accessible Life, the program has been designed to contribute by adding Outdoor Accessible places to the project. For more details you can watch the video of the presentation in this post: Accessible Life - Public for Everyone

Nothing has been released about future Connect Live events. Except that 2020 and 2021 got canceled due to COVID-19.

Keep an eye on the Announcements section for updates.
